Learning Situation in Senior Three
As the College Entrance Examination approaches, in order to precisely control the review and preparation schedule for the senior three students, comprehensively grasp the effectiveness of classroom teaching and the learning situation of the students, optimize the examination preparation teaching strategies, and conduct efficient preparation, recently, the Senior High School Department of our school once again organized a senior three student situation investigation Activity, which focused on classroom observation and after-class teaching, delved into the teaching frontlines, precisely analyzed the problems, and made every effort to lay a solid foundation for the College Entrance Examination preparation.
To begin with, the classroom is the main battlefield for exam preparation and review. Accordingly, the first step of this research is to conduct in-class observations in all senior three classes to gain a comprehensive and multi-angle understanding of the actual teaching situation. Meanwhile, the research team, composed of the academic department leaders, subject group leaders and senior three subject teachers, went into each senior three class and attended various subject classes such as Chinese, mathematics and English, listening to the review lessons, test analysis lessons and practice lessons throughout.
Furthermore, after the class observation, our Senior High School Department promptly organized a special teaching seminar for the senior three grade. Vice Principal Xiao Qingke, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai and Deputy Director Jiang Shengyou of the Senior High School Department went into each subject group to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the students' learning situation and teaching conditions based on the class observation, truthfully feeding back the research results. Moreover, teachers of each subject in turn shared their experiences and insights regarding the feedback from the class observation, their own teaching practices, students' mastery of knowledge, and the shortcomings in review and preparation for the College Entrance Examination, who clarified the subsequent review direction, aiming to achieve 'precise teaching and practice, filling in the gaps, and tiered tutoring', and effectively enhanced the pertinence and effectiveness of the review and preparation for the College Entrance Examination.
On the whole, the stars never fail to shine upon those who strive, and rivers always favor those who paddle hard. Not only does this series of senior three academic situation research activities serve as a comprehensive review of the current teaching work but also as a precise arrangement for the subsequent review preparations. Moving forward, all senior three teachers will take this research as a new starting point, unite their efforts, delve deeply into their work, and with more solid teaching and warmer companionship, lead all senior three students to prepare scientifically and make a full sprint, helping our students achieve even greater success in the 2026 College Entrance Examination!
